designed by Joey Roth design studio:
made from all natural materials: wool felt, teak, and aluminum
“I was inspired by the mouse’s intimate contact with the human skin, which is unique among peripherals. Although it’s more similar to a glove or shoe than a printer, mice are typically made from the same thermoplastics. For such a tactile and purposeful object, this is wrong.
The Felt Mouse is designed to be broke in over time. Its dense wool felt slowly conforms to the hand’s individual shape and motion. Over the course of a few months, it transitions from a mass produced product to a unique tool that specifically fits its user.
Like a pair of good leather shoes, with natural materials it takes a bit of time to break in and adjust to your body. And unlike a plastic mouse that might be made of polycarbonates, there are no possibly harmful chemicals to leach out.”
