The breadboard and the knife.
The inspiration is drawn from the first knife, stylizing this object and making it as pragmatic as possible hence the ” pragma ” name. It came out as a blade with cutter teeth which are more than simple triangular shapes made ??by laser cutting in the steel plate. The entire project is then built around the geometric shape of a triangle. The knife handle is constructed in two parts which are assembled triangular ash bonding hand directly on the slide. For aesthetic as well as industrial, form and assembly process of the wood pieces are the same reasons for the board. Indeed, one can see the edge of the aluminum plate sandwiched by laths as to the knife handle. This triangulation allows the board to host the knife in all directions, to harvest crumbs and let the blades work. The advantage of the symmetry of this board is that it allows us once a face is worn, simply return it to give it a new life.
