“For Peter Szacki the most important was the aspect of manual work and the connection between man and his object.
Today the majority of housework is done standing and in a hurry. I wanted to create a piece of furniture which would allow me to comfortably perform household duties in the kitchen and celebrate them and enjoy them (while sitting).
The simple steel frame becomes a neutral base for the lengthened seating.
The function and the visual aspect of the wooden part that is the seating can be adjusted to individual needs.
The extent of work done using this stool is wide, beginning with kitchen tasks, via the office work, ending with the fun time.
The prototype was designed by using an old wooden plank, and was inspired by such simple kitchen tasks like cracking nuts (and jokes), shelling of beans or peeling potatoes.”
